April 2015

Hello fellow dog lovers April has been a really busy month for us,

Meet Charlie.

Charlie is small for a male, but his bark is a big as any male GSD. Charlie is outgoing, loves company and will play with other dogs (larger dogs can be problematic) after introduction, he does prefer lady dogs!. He enjoys to play and long walks, but lounging around with humans is just as good!

Charlie is not suitable with children under 12 years old, no to cats and small animal's. This boy has a lot to give, however, can become over protective and attach himself just to one person, this is something that can't be resolved within a rehab environment. Charlie needs time to grow but ground rules from day 1, ongoing training essential, and a focus on lead socialized training.

Have you the time for ongoing training at least 1 hour a day, which doesn't sound a lot, but if you work 9-5pm its a chunk out of the evening when you get home. Charlie would benefit from a GSD experienced owner.

As with all EGSR dogs full support is given before and after adoption.

If you think you could offer Charlie a home, please contact us or complete an application - egsr.org/adopt/
